The Art of Perfumery

Perfumery is one of the oldest and most evocative art forms known to humanity. At its heart, it is the craft of blending aromatic ingredients — raw materials drawn from nature and science — to create a fragrance that stirs emotion, evokes memory, and defines identity.

A fine perfume is built in layers, known as top notes, heart notes, and base notes. The top notes are what you first perceive — bright, fleeting impressions of citrus, herbs, or light florals. The heart notes emerge as the fragrance settles on your skin, forming its true character. The base notes linger longest, grounding the scent with depth and warmth through woods, musks, and resins.

At Ambrosia Essence, every fragrance is composed with intention — each note chosen not merely for its beauty, but for the story it tells and the feeling it leaves behind.

Additionally, different fragrances have different purposes, such as Summer and Winter fragrances. Typically winter fragrances are stronger, sweeter, with more dense scent profiles, such as Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille, while summer fragrances are lighter, with more fresh scent profiles, such as Louis Vuitton Imagination

A Founder's Story

This small business was founded by a 14 year old with a passion for perfume (myself). I was really interested in collecting fragrances and I thought that through this decant business I could share it with others.
